About Metromotion Controls.

Metromotion Controls is an industrial automation engineering firm based in Mount Waverley, Melbourne. We engineer the control and software systems that run a modern food and beverage factory: the systems that sequence a CIP wash, run a packaging line, or coordinate a multi-stage batch. We deliver from initial design through to commissioning, installation and long-term support.

Since 2012, we have delivered more than 200 projects in dairy, beverage, snack foods, pet food and baked goods manufacturing. Our clients include Chobani, Lactalis Australia, La Casa del Formaggio, Real Pet Food, Remedy Drinks and Peters Ice Cream. Around 80% of the work we do each year is for clients we have engineered for before.

Working with us

What it means for your plant

- 01

End-to-end engineering

From the controls on the line floor through to the data your management sees, we engineer the whole stack so it works as one system. No coordinating multiple contractors.

- 02

Food and beverage depth

Fourteen years engineering automation specifically for Australian food and beverage manufacturers means we already understand the patterns of your plant: CIP cycles, allergen separation, batch traceability and recipe handling. We have also grown alongside clients who started small and have become some of Australia's largest manufacturers, so we know what it takes to scale automation through that kind of growth.

- 03

A natural extension of your team

We build long-term relationships with our clients and work transparently throughout each engagement. Most clients come to think of us as a natural extension of their operation, rather than a contractor who hands over and disappears once the project is signed off.

- 04

Platform choice that fits your plant

We engineer across the major platforms including Ignition, Rockwell, Siemens and AVEVA. The recommendation we give you is based on what suits your site and your team, not what we sell.
